Digital Library of Studies

 

The Kimen Digital Library of the Planning Directorate of the Ministry of Public Works manages, disseminates and preserves the knowledge generated by the various institutional directorates, with the aim of making updated knowledge of interest to institutional services and citizens available to the community.

The objectives of the repository are, among others, to promote, disseminate and enhance:

• Access to available information.
• Reuse and distribution.
• Information and knowledge generated by the Ministry.
• Implementation of the Law on Transparency of the Public Service and Access to Information of the State Administration No. 20,285.
• Visibility of the production of MOP services.
• Promote interoperability between institutions.

All studies stored in the Repository may be freely used, reused and redistributed by anyone, provided that the author is cited and that they are shared in the same manner in which they appear.

Publication and administration

The Kimen Digital Library of Studies, of the Ministry of Public Works, is managed by the Planning Directorate based on the DSpace software, developed by HP Labs and MIT, which has been adapted to the needs of our service.

Formats

The studies stored in the repository are in digital format and in various types of formats, such as Excel, pdf, jpeg, txt, Zip, tar, among others.
